Service outage disrupts Arvest banking
“During routine system updates Thursday evening after bank hours, an internal issue resulted in a small number of customers briefly viewing incorrect account information when logging into online banking or the Arvest Go mobile app.
Our teams immediately identified the issue and temporarily disabled certain online functions while taking measures to correct it,” the statement read. Tara Muck, an Arvest Bank spokesperson, clarified that customers did not see other people’s account information, but rather information that was not related to their own accounts. Arvest emphasized that the issue was not related to a cyber incident or unauthorized access to their systems.
The bank assured customers that its branches, ATMs with Live Tellers, and standalone ATMs remained available throughout the outage. By 3:45 p.m. on Friday, Arvest confirmed that online and mobile banking services had been fully restored. The bank operates 229 locations across Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas.
